Certified Fiber Optics Classes
In 2010, Mansfield University will offer three fiber optics classes through BDI DataLynk, LLC.

2011 Gifted Travel Trip:
Next year's journey will take you on a tour from Amsterdam to London. Any student in the 5th through 11th grade in a school enrichment program or a student in these grades who would be recommended by a school official as a person who would take advantage of this educational opportunity may attend. Non-Credit Online Classes
Mansfield University now offers On-Line Career Training Programs and Non-Credit courses. These courses are asynchronous web-based training which means that there is no commuting to classrooms, and you 'attend class' when it works for you! International Vegetarian Cuisine
Indulge your senses in the tastes of international foods with this series of cooking classes. Each class will include copies of the recipes, a cooking demonstration (not hands-on), and end with the meal. You can attend one or all four classes offered. The cost is $45 per class.

- October 4 - Mexican Menu: Corn tortilla soup; tomato and onion salad with avocado dressing; cheese and pepper enchiladas with hot sauce; and almond torte.
- October 11 - Indian Menu: Tomato soup with toasted coconut; yellow split pea dal; basmati rice with nuts and raisins; spinach-cilantro raita; Chappatis; and almond-stuffed grapes.
- October 25 - Southeast Asian Menu: Vietnamese hot and sour soup; Thai salad with peanut dressing; Pad Thai; Thai crème caramel.

ServSafe Food Safety Certification Training
ServSafe is a certification program developed by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. This course meets certification requirements for individuals who are responsible for the safe handling of food in restaurants, schools, eldercare facilities, churches, community centers and other concessions. A final exam for certification will be offered at the end of the course. Two sessions will be offered. For more information "click here".

Self Defense Course for Women
