Each prospective cadet must complete an application and submit a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 made payable to Mansfield University. To receive an application, email Barbara A. Butcher and write Application Request in subject line. You must include your name and address in the body as the application must be sent through the post office.

Upon receiving the application fee, the Director will forward a registration packet to you which must be completed and returned to Mansfield University.
In addition to the non-refundable deposit, the current cost of the full and part-time academy is as follows. (2009/2010 costs have not been finalized)

The ACT 34 Clearance and Driver Record must be successfully completed by each student at your own expense. An official copy must be provided to the Director of the Municipal Police Officers' Training School, Barbara Butcher.
Once the complete registration packet has been received, a representative of the Mansfield University Municipal Police Officer's Training School will contact you to arrange a personal interview, psychological evaluation, reading and physical fitness tests. After reviewing your file and evaluations, a determination will be made as to the acceptance into the school.
