ACT 120 may be just what you are looking for. The Municipal Police Officers' Training Academy (ACT 120) is certified by the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission. The purpose of the Academy is to provide each recruit with the professional skills necessary to function as a municipal police officer.
The Program:
Is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania- Is required to become a municipal police officer in PA
- Requires 750 hours of instruction and development of personal skills
- Uses certified instructors who are employed in the law enforcement/legal field
- Is available on a full-time or part-time basis (see schedule below)
- Prepares cadets for employment opportunities within the field of law enforcement
- Allows cadets to earn up to 19 undergraduate credits which is a great start on an Associate or Bachelor's degree. "Click Here" for information on Mansfield University's Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration

- CJA 3354 Criminal Law (3 credits)
- CJA 3355 Evidence & Criminal Procedure (3 credits)
- CJA 4496 Domestic Violence & Crisis Management (3 credits)
- CJA 4496 Patrol Procedures & Operations (3 credits)
- HPE 3340 First Aid & CPR (3 credits)
- HPE 1122 Conditioning & Weight Training (1 credit)
