Meet your Camp Director
Mrs. Sarah Wagaman returns as our director for the 2009 Art Camp. She is currently an art teacher in the Wellsboro Area School District for grades K-4. She has been involved with M. U.'s Art camp for 9 years as an instructor prior to becoming the camp's director. This experience has allowed her to become acclimated with many of our faithful annual participants.
Sarah received her Master's degree in Art Education from Mansfield University and has been taking courses ever since. The most recent course was Writing Children's Literature in an attempt to become a better writer and also working toward publication. One of her articles has been published in School Arts. Although the gift of the pen is purposeful, she continues to pursue her love of photography!
Being a mother of two young children also keeps her on the move. She attributes her children to having had an avid influence on her teaching. Sarah feels fortunate to have two of the best jobs in the world and can't wait to see you in the summer.
