Experience the High School Honors Instrumental Camp in safe and beautiful surroundings. The finest conductors will offer an uplifting, educational and highly motivational experience, leading you to an outstanding performance and recording. The intense performance experiences are geared towards expanding your musical ability through the art of ensemble performance. Share experiences with like-minded musicians interested in pursuing excellence!

Each ensemble will present a final camp concert on July 19th. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Camp faculty include:

  • Honors Wind Band Camp Director: Dr. Adam F. Brennan, Director of Bands and Instrumental Conducting, Mansfield University
  • Honors Jazz Camp Director: Dr. Michael Galloway, Director of Jazz Studies, Mansfield University

The camp faculty is comprised primarily of members of the Mansfield University Music Department. This faculty is augmented by individuals in the music field who are outstanding players and teachers. Camp counselors are selected Mansfield University music majors. The camper to counselor ratio is about 10:1. Students and counselors live in the campus residence hall and eat in the campus dining room.

All campers will be selected by the Mansfield University Music Department based on the submission of performance application recording and recommendations. Guaranteed acceptance to any musician who has performed in PMEA or NYSSMA District, Regional or All States Ensembles by submitting a program with their name highlighted.
